Maui surfing lessons is dedicated to providing a safe environment for each student. We want this to be a safe, fun, and memorable Maui water sport experience.
Each lesson is adapted to the ability of each child and safety is first and foremost. The youngest student I ever taught was 3. If anyone says you can teach them younger, I’d be seriously skeptical.It’s just not safe.
Over the years, many of our students have been children, typically in the age range of 7-11. Maui is the perfect spot to learn to surf and since our instructors can get you up on the board and surfing in just one lesson, it’s really amazing to see just how well these kids can do.
I suggest maybe a group or a private lesson at first or a family lesson. It’s fun for the kids to be with their parents and it’s always thrill for the parents to see their kids stand up.
